Rambhadracharya later commented on the situation, calling Abhinav a “foolish boy” and questioning his claim that Lord Krishna studies with him
Abhinav Arora, a ten-year-old known as ‘bal sant baba’, has shared his perspective following a recent incident where he was reprimanded by Swami Rambhadracharya during a public event. The spiritual leader stated that minor incidents should not be escalated to national matters. He acknowledged that although he scolded Abhinav on stage, he later called him to his room to give his blessings.
The Incident Explained
The controversy began with a viral video showing Abhinav singing bhajans and dancing on stage alongside Rambhadracharya. In the footage, the spiritual leader is heard telling him to leave the stage, expressing frustration over interruptions while praising Lord Ram. Abhinav was eventually escorted off the stage.
Rambhadracharya later commented on the situation, calling Abhinav a “foolish boy” and questioning his claim that Lord Krishna studies with him. He remarked, “Will God study with him? I had scolded him in Vrindavan too.”
Abhinav’s Clarification
In a media interaction, Abhinav responded to the backlash surrounding the video, stating, The truth was hidden, and rumors were spread; the real story was something else. He clarified that the video was not recent but rather over a year old, originating from Vrindavan.
He raised a rhetorical question to his viewers saying “have your parents never scolded you? Has your teacher never scolded you?”
On the Public Reaction
Abhinav expressed confusion over why the incident was treated as a major national issue, “Even if such a big guru like Swami Rambhadracharya scolded me, why is this being made the nation’s biggest news?”
He emphasized that people have failed to mention that Rambhadracharya later called him to his room and blessed him, asking, “In fact, no one has mentioned how Jagadguru Rambhadracharya also called me to his room after this incident and blessed me.”
Impact on His Life
Abhinav also addressed concerns about his schooling, clarifying, “People are saying that you didn’t go to school. But I do go to school. Now, due to this situation and all the trolling, I am unable to go to school because of these people. Because of me, my sister is also unable to go to school.”
Abhinav’s heartfelt comments shed light on the impact of public scrutiny on his young life, emphasizing the need for understanding and empathy in situations involving children.
