The veteran actress promptly stepped in to clarify the situation, sharing a comforting message with her fans on social media. Kulkarni took to Instagram to post a heartfelt note, putting an end to the unfounded rumor and wrote, “There’s a FAKE NEWS circulating on YouTube about my death. I am very much alive and kicking and by God’s grace, busy working. Please DO NOT HEED OR ENCOURAGE SUCH RUMOURS. Long live me.”
On the professional front, Neena Kulkarni recently made her return to television with the Marathi series Yed Lagla Premach, where she portrays a compassionate mother. The show also features Vishal Nikam and Pooja Birari in prominent roles.
Kulkarni also made an appearance at the recent screening of the Marathi film Paani, directed by Adinath Kothare and produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Madhu Chopra under Purple Pebble Pictures.
